Avondlicht’s seventeen minute piece 'Relinquishment Into a State of Selfless Being' grew out of an ambient seedling from his debut album Hyperromance, released back in April 2020. Rooted in a live recording around momentary fragments from the album, this rather meditative work builds up and surrenders around Elysian soundscapes, indivisibly woven together throughout the pulsating motion of the ephemerides, inviting the listener to slow down and relinquish to what is.
